Creating a folder in workspace for new notebooks

Hello, I am using the synapse api to create a new notebook (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/synapse/data-plane/notebook/create-or-update-notebook) and would like to create a new folder for the notebook to be stored in at the same time. I am getting an error when trying to PUT the notebook in a folder if the folder does not already exist in my workspace. How can I create a new folder for notebooks in my workspace using the rest api?
