Defender for Cloud Apps - How MCAS calculate the uploads ?

Hi,

I am trying to understand how MCAS is calculing the amount of Data transfered to an Cloud App (Uploaded to a cloud app)

The Cloud App are not connected to MCAS.
They are discovered with the ShadowIT features by using the Win10 endpoints (MDE)

It seems that MCAS is levering MDE data, but I am able to find this information from MDE tables.

Any idea how MCAS is computing the amount of traffic ?
