It seems, if we disable SMBv2 it will disable SMBv3. Is that correct?
Are there any additional steps to perform, to allow only SMBv3 and disable older versions
That's correct. When you enable or disable SMBv2 in Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012, SMBv3 is also enabled or disabled. This behavior occurs because these protocols share the same stack.
