Hi, I have the same issue. Using Windows 11+Word 2019, it is not possible to insert a "Bitmap Image" object in a word document.
This was possible with Windows 10
Running Word on Windows 11, Insert Object command does not correctly insert an bitmap file as embed. On Windows 10 running Word - the image of the bitmap is embedded and shown correctly. Is this issue known? Is there a fix?
