Hello

We are using Endpoint Protection to manage Defender and policies. My question is what will be the impact if we also did GPO Settings for Defender. Which would take precedence if there was a conflict?

Thanks

    Hi there,

The fact that Which would take precedence if there was a conflict would be decided by Load Endpoint Protection Group Policy settings enabled into your device.

SCEP and Windows Defender are essentially the same application. Each program is designed to detect threats. Like SCEP, Windows Defender can detect malicious software like viruses and spyware. You can manage Windows Defender through System Center Configuration Manager or Microsoft Intune.
