SharePoint "Submit for approval" version comments

Just learning about the "Submit for approval" button. I first thought this was a great solution for quickly updating a Library file's version from Minor (Draft) to Major (Publish) of a completed, check-in document. However, the comments/notes section of the versioning were removed afterwards which is problematic because this is where we summarize the change(s) to be able to recognize it at a glance. Can this be changed or are we to go through the extra process of checking out then in the document just to update the versioning?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Xine16 ,

In SharePoint online we can add version comments everytime we check out one file then check in. In Power Automate flow, comments function are added in "Check in file" action. You can add "Check out file" action and "Check in file" action in your flow.
