Hello @Uzair ,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft QnA Platform. Happy to answer your question.
As you mentioned, you are able to connect to the AVD using remote desktop web client, and the AVD performance is also good. However, you are facing slowness while uploading file to the AVD. Below are some common reasons why you might be facing slowness.
- Firstly, can you check your network connectivity and bandwidth and see if it is causing the issue.
- If the size of the file that you are trying to upload to AVD is quite large, you can try copying a file with smaller size and see whether it is also taking a long time or is it uploading quickly. If it is getting uploaded quickly, then it is possible that large files might take longer to get uploaded.
- Are the applications on AVD working fine or are you seeing some slowness there as well. If the general performance of AVD is good, then most likely it can be an issue with network bandwidth or file size that you are trying to upload.
- Also, another quick good to know fact is that currently the web client only supports copying and pasting of text to or from the web client. As you already know, any type of file will be uploaded to Remote Desktop Virtual Drive > Uploads within the File explorer of the AVD session host.
Please let me know if the above information helps, and incase you are still facing issues then kindly let me know network speed and the file size you are trying to upload.
