Hello, I'm Japanese(I use google translate for posting)
I have two problems with Azure Backup Item
・The first problem
Unable to delete sql database(SQL in Azure VM) backup item.
When I view the backup item in the portal, it says "An unknown error has occurred".
Also, all operations on items cannot be performed (all grayed out).
Even the Azure powershell "Disable-AzRecoveryServicesBackupProtection" command results in an error and cannot be deleted.
The vm with the database is down.
When I start the vm, the backup status shows "normal" but I can't do anything
・The second problem
The list of backup items and the backup report show the backup items that have already been deleted.
Of course, when I open the backup item, it says "Resource not found".
I don't want to see these as they have been deleted.
These issues look like Azure bugs, is there any solution?
The current support plan is free.
It's difficult to suggest an upgrade to a paid plan to your boss to solve these problems.
Thank you for your answer.
Thank you for telling me the guidelines!
I'm deleting backup items according to guidelines.
Database backup items that cannot be deleted will not accept all operations.
Can you share a screenshot of the error message, if any?
Thank you for your reply.
Here is a screenshot of the first problem.
If you try to view the database backup that has the problem, you will see this.
Also, at the bottom, "An error occurred while acquiring recovery points" is displayed.
The second problem was confirmed today and was resolved.
The reason is unknown.
