This is behavior by design, if you check the same setting in Windows, you will see you could manage it only for UWP application because they have interface to be able to manage them. However, Windows applications are created in different ways and you couldn't manage individual app's permission. You may check with the software vendor and they might have a workaround.

Hello,
is there a possible way to deny/allow certain programs an access to the users microphone? There is a policy called "Let Windows apps access the microphone" under **Computer Configuration\ Administrative Templates\ Windows Components\ App Privacy** and it does what i want except it is only for apps. We use a different Software for our voip which isnt deployed as an appx file so the policy cant be used.
Is there another way?
