Hello,

A good friend of mine runs a tech support business from his home and is in the hospital for an unforeseeable amount of time. I've run a disk repair for his son but whatsup isn't loading properly (i kept poking at it and admit every time I fix one thing another breaks). Currently it looks close but when I try to load it I get the log then the message

Database connection error

Error=80040E37

ErrorMessage=idspatch error #3127

Description=[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver] [SQL Server] Invalid object name 'databaseproperty'

I admit I don't really know much at all about SQL or Whatsup but I'd like to get it working for him & his son.

A table by that name exists in the whatsup database. My guess is whatsup isn't looking in the right place. I go to my odbc dsn and both test ok for whatsup.

    Hi @Boe Dillard

    Quote from this blog: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/966151/run-time-error-2147217865-80040e37-microsoft-odbc-sql-server-driver-sq

    Resolution:
    If this is a new Epicor Database then Database Scripts will need to be run against the database. These scripts can be found on the Epicor CD or at www.FRxSoftware.com in the Service Pack download area for Epicor. Microsoft FRx users will also need to have db_datareader rights to the Epicor Database in SQL Server.

    We recommend that a full database backup is performed and a Database Administrator perform any database tasks like running Scripts or modifying Security.
    And of course, you can also try to search the error message or description in google to reference other similar issues.

    BR,
    Mia

    Thanks - this is ipswitch whatsup. I did find a recent database backup and restored it. The table is there so I'm guessing somewhere there is a cfg file or ini or something of that kind that tells it to look for a table and it has an erroneous entry there. I'd really like to fix it for him but I fixed 3 other servers on his system so I can't be expected to be perfect. I'd just try to take away any other issues he may have as he's going through a lot of stress right now.
