hi team,

i am looking to migrate my physical servers to azure. as per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/vmware-physical-azure-support-matrix#storage, Raid are not supported.

however, normally most of the physical servers disks will be configured with RAID.

does anyone has input on the above? or have confronted this scenario before?

thank you always for the support

@eg1995 Thank you for your post!

RAID is not supported by ASR as of now. And there are no plans to support it in the near future.
Am afraid to say 'No' workaround available with us currently.

RAID is designed to limit/mitigate hardware failures and controlled by a RAID controller (HW). Azure uses Software defined storage so you no longer control physical storage.

I believe at ASR migration the RAID is lost and resiliency is now determined by the storage type you select.
