Failover cluster resources failing after being offline for a long period.

Hello Community,
this is the context:

  • SQL Failover cluster, two nodes, win2008r2, cloned in DR on vmware, OS NOT synced with its prod alter ego.
  • AD DC, cloned in DR on vmware with converter, synced with prod alter ego.

Sìnce the SQL cluster is not synced with his production alter ego, when DR is started after maybe days or months of being shutted down, its operating system data is obsolete and doesn't match with DC, freshly re-synced, and preventing SQL resources to come online correctly.

Is there any way of resetting or renewing the kerberos tokens (i guess) with what stored in the freshly synced DC? We already tried unjoining and rejoining the nodes in domain, but didn't work.

Can you guys point me in some direction?

Thanks
Fabio

    Hello @Fabio C81

First you will need to purge the previous information in Kerberos for the server. In order to remove this without logoff or reboots, please run the command "klist purge" from elevated command prompt.

Hope this helps with your query,
