Hello all:

I am having a problem with autoplay. When I insert a blank DVD in the drive, the autoplay menu does not come up. When I insert a DVD with data on it, the window does come up, I have set autoplay to ask me everytime when a blank DVD is inserted, however, it does not ask and I do not get to tell it what to do. I hope that someone can help me fix this problem, thanks for any and all responses

    Hi,

Please go to control panel\all control panel items\troubleshooting to check if it is available to find and fix media player DVD automatically.
Go to Device Manager, uninstall the existing DVD driver, then reboot computer again to load a new driver to check the issue. Or we could go to manufacturer website and download the latest system compatibility version for checking again.

Try to insert a new DVD to check if it prompt for asks. If you could get any other external DVD player, try to check if the issue related with hardware.

    Bests,
