hi all.
I need confirmation about Site recovery on Paired Region.
We have SQL Databases, Storage Account and Virtual Machines in Zone : "France Central" . Our Datas must retains in France.
Geo Replication is enabled on Backup of VM, Storage account are in RA-GRS and SQL Database (in standard tiers) is configured with "Geo-redundant backup storage".
In cas of outage in France Central, I would restore Data and restart from "France South".
I want to test my Site recovery plan, but "France South" is not available for trying to restore VM and Database (For Storage Account, it seems that I just need to swap principal zone).
I did not find any information about this.
so my first, question is : "Am I wrong about the possibility to restart from france South ?"
And second if I'm right , "Where can I found the documentation about how to recover service from paired zone manually for testing and validating solution?"

@StphaneGUERIN-4890 Welcome to Microsoft Q & A Community Forum. I understand that you are trying to enable cross region replication. Kindly note that certain regions are access restricted to support specific customer scenarios, such as in-country disaster recovery. France is one of them. These regions are available upon by request by creating support ticket from azure portal. For more information , refer this document.

You can restore vm to secondary region using cross region restore which is a paired region. For more information on how to restore, refer this document.
