Visual Studio 2022 Dark Image In Panel

Windows Forms project. Panel is 1800 x 900 with a background image. Why is the image dark? I tried other images and they display correctly. I played around with settings and no luck. The second image is the original.

    Hi

    I can't reproduce the effect you are seeing. I wonder if you are using an image which has semi-transparent colors? If so, maybe the background of the Panel is showing through (partially)?
