Hi team,

I had linked an alternate account to my visual studio enterprise subscription for taking the benefits of azure 150$ monthly credit. However I forgot my password of that alternate account and I'm not able to recover as well. So I want to change my alternate account to another account in order to deregister the 150$ benifit from my previous account and attach it to my new email account.

Any way by which I can achieve this?

Support team cancelled the subscription in question and advised:

To activate the subscription on a different account. To add the other account in the Visual Studio portal, add your alternate email address and activate the subscription using the below steps.

Identities for Visual Studio subscribers | Microsoft Learn

Visual Studio subscriptions available in the Microsoft Store | Microsoft Learn

Hope this helps other community members!

Hello @Nikhil Sahoo Thank you for contacting us!

I understand that you want to de-link your Azure benefits subscription from the alternate account and register it to the new email account to avail/continue $150 benefits. To do so, you need to perform subscription ownership transfer from old email account to the new account. Azure subscription management team would be able to assist you with that. Kindly, reach out to them by raising a support request. The ticket enables you to work closely with the support engineers and get a quick resolution to your issue.
