Is there any documentation on the types of performance counters

2022-02-14T06:22:00.977+00:00

I use performance counters to monitor machine performance, and I found there are many different counter types, such as "% Processor Performance", "Processor Time", "% of Maximum Frequency". And some counters I can't find detailed description, so is there any documentation for all the counters?

Hello @Yunwei Zhi -X (yunzhi - Hileap at Cisco)

Yes, there is some useful documentation that might help you in getting a detailed understating of the Performance Counters. Windows Performance Counters provide a high-level abstraction layer with a consistent interface for collecting various kinds of system data such as CPU, memory, and disk usage statistics.
