DNS resolves internally

Hi All,

Please forgive me as I am not an IT guru by any stretch but I'm trying to manage our IT myself!

We set up our Server a few years back and set our domain name (as recommended by MS) as aaauk.co.uk. Since then, we have not been able to reach our own website (www.aaauk.co.uk). We can ping the IP address of the website (192.0.78.24) and it bounces back lovely but are unable to access the site in a browser (it just hangs).

I think the problem is related to our DNS lookups on our Domain controller. If we ping aaauk.co.uk it resolves back to the ip address of the Domain controller. I've included a screen dump of the DNS settings. Can anyone provide advise?

Many thanks in advance!!

Try creating an A record www.aaauk.co.uk pointed to the address of the website
