hi
We seen that config file is not receving on one of agent.
Ports are open and we disabled the ping on few server including this.
But all those working fine.
Right now we have heartbeat alert in console which is not closing even after flush.

    Hi,

Before we make the changes (disabled the ping) for networking settings, does it work? For testing purpose, is there any chance for us to revert the network setting back?

\A heartbeat is a packet of data sent from the agent to the management server on a regular basis, by default every 60 seconds, using port 5723 (UDP).

For operations manager, it is recommended to allow ping so that the Management Server can detect if an agent is alive or not if heartbeat fails.

*When an agent fails to send a heartbeat 4 times, a Health Service Heartbeat Failure alert is generated and the management server attempts to contact the computer by using ****ping****.*

For more details, we may refer to the below article.

    Hope the above information helps.

    Hi @Chetan rms

if the port (5723) is opened from the agent to the management server, then I would check the following:

    1. Make sure the Management Group configuration like MG name and Management Server name are configured properly.
    2. Please make sure that the agent has been approved and is not listed under "pending management"
    3. Make sure that the AV software on the agent does not scan the Health Service folder.
    4. Check the event Logs and find all related errors or warnings. Examine them carefully, what do they state?

Please post here your findings. Let's see how we can help.

    Regards,
