Hi All,

I have logged in with domain administrator one of our member server and tried to launch Citrix Studio but it says "The current user does not appear to be the member of an active directory domain. It cannot be run as a local user.

Workaround I have performed so far.

I have removed uninstalled citrix studio, removed domain and changed to workgroup. Later I have added back to domain and installed citrix studio.

I have tried all the workaround from Citrix as well, but I am still facing the same issue.. So please let me know do I need to change any settings in ADDS to fix this.

Thanks

I'd try asking for help here in dedicated forums.

    Hello @Fahrid F

As long as your user is confirmed as part of Domain Users group, that should be correct. Furthermore, it would be necessary to prompt the question, as Citrix system may need to recognize the user as part of the domain and that will require to interact with specific Citrix powerhsell module, for which Citrix community will be better equipped to assist and guide.

Hope this helps with your query,

    Hi @Anonymous @Limitless Technology ,

I have tried restarting the Citrix domain services but still issue is not fixed. Our internal team is suspecting it might be because of the ADDS group policy settings. So, wanted to know will there be any gp settings which might can block the domain administrator.

Because we have applied CIS CAT benchmark related settings in our servers.

    Thanks
