I have a PC with an Asus Prime X299-A motherboard and connected to my Internet box with Wifi Realtek RTL8192EE Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC. The PC a Nvidia Geforce GT 710 graphic card. On this PC I had a Windows 10 PRO 21H1 installed on the first SDD and a Windows 2016 Server Evaluation Version installed on Seagate Barracuda HDD. Originally the mobo had a firmware version 1902. Using this firmware version I noticed it was impossible using Hyper-V neither with Win10 Pro nor with Win 2016 Server. I updated the firmware to 3105 version and from this update I was able fully usingHyper-V functionnalities. Last week I wished updating the Windows Server with the 2002 evaluation version and once the setup completed I noticed that neither the vidéo Nvidia drivers nor those of the NIC adapter were installed. I tried installing Windows 2019 and same result. In order to verify I reinstalled the Windows 2016 again and the installation equallt failled with no drivers installed. Please note that when installing Windows 10 Pro on the Seagate hard drive it works perfectly. I updated the mobo firmware to version 3201 and the Windows 2019 or 2022 installation equally fails not installing the appropriate drivers.
Those it ring bells to somebody? I tend to think the problem comes from my mobo firmware or its configuration. I don't want flashing all the available firmware versions neither I want reverting back to the 1902 version when I installed Windows 2016.
Thanks in advance for any help.
