Hi,

I am getting the error "Error while loading extension Microsoft_Azure_IotHub: EnvironmentFetchFailed" in Azure Portal when clicking IoT Hub, since morning 21 Aug 2020. I doubt it is account problem as i have tried with another Azure account also having the same issue.

I tried with other browsers, or incognito/private windows, still no luck.

Hope anyone who has this similar experience before can share how to solve the problem.

Appreciate anyone's suggestions.

Thank you.

Regards,
KeeCM

    This worked for me.
LAN-> WAN IP 13.107.246.10:443 was being blocked by my home pfSense with pfBlockerNG.
I created a firewall rule to allow that IP and the Azure Portal OK again.
    Thanks for the fix!

I actually ran into this today. Someone had attempted to block mixer.com from our network, they did so using an IP block on the domain name, Mixer.com looks to have migrated to an Azure site thus blocking the Azure blades being hosted at the same IP (13.107.246.10 in this case).

Review your firewall for any Lan->Wan policy blocks that end up being in the Azure IP range. If your firewall offers some packet monitoring I was able to trace mine down b capturing all packets outbound from my LAN IP on port 80 or 443 and looking for the dropped packets.

    Good luck!

Hello @Kee C M , Did you tried to clear off the browser cache or hard refresh of browser. Have you tried from another laptop? Sometimes new releases on extensions will cause the long-running browser sessions to break. you have to clear all cookies/cache data of browser to get it working.

    • Clear Browser Cookies in Chrome: Link

      • Clear Browser Cookies in Microsoft Edge: Link
      • Check the Network Firewall rules which may be blocking the traffic. Allow or add firewall rules that might unblock this issue.
