I sign up Azure tree trial and try to create Ubuntu VM. On the Bacics page, I see the Subscription field keep loading. After providing all information, I got "Validation failed. Required information is missing or not valid." on the Review + create page with a red dot on Basics tab.
Any idea?

As mentioned in a similar post here, few other customers reported same issue.

Team is investigating internally on this and we will keep you posted on this.

However, requesting you to please try in a different browser and see if that solves the issue (delete the cache and cookies)
Also, are you facing similar issue when trying in a incognito (private browser sessions)?
What is the subscription type?
were you able to create virtual machines before under this subscription?

As mentioned in the below thread, Internal team has rolled out a fix now to resolve this issue.

Requesting you to clear you browser cache and cookies and try now. This issue should be resolved now.

There is an issue with the Azure Portal which fails loading the subscription during the creation process of VMs since a few days for different people.
Microsoft is actively working on this at the moment.

9 of my friends facing the same issue and they all are using it in the chrome browser. Please let me know about any other browser in which it is feasible to create VM.

I'm having the exact same problem too as well as several of my classmates. I'd say about 25% of the class is having this issue while other students are having no problems whatsoever. It's weird. The majority of students are using Google Chrome on the University's desktop computers. I've tried using it in Firefox and still had the same problem.

@Hollie, Jayla , it is interesting that roughly 25% of the class is having the issue while the other 75% are not. That may match a pattern in one of the errors we're seeing on our end. I'll add that to the notes. Thank you for including this!
