Hi,

We currently use (Log Workspace) to store the LOGs of our Application Gateway and this has a very high cost because many access logs are generated in a short time.

We limit the (Log Workspace) to a fixed space of GB, that is, when it reaches this limit, we can no longer see any current LOG.

We know there is an option to use a storage account to store and we were able to set up a days retention so we would only work with day logs without maintaining a 30 day retention which is the (Log Workspace) default.

However, I have doubts if using the storage account I believe I will not have this management that I have when sending to (Log Workspace - Query)?

Thanks.

@Salves , yes, storing logs in storage account will bring up the limitation for kusto querying. Instead, you can change the retention period on Log analytics workspace itself. Here is a document that clearly explains how to configure how long log data is kept by in your workspace.
