Automating user creation in (Azure) AD

Hi there,

I am not directly asking for plug and play solutions but more of a push in the right direction.
Already a few topics were proposed to me, but I still cannot find the most suitable solution for my case.

I, like other (Azure) System Engineers am looking for a solution to automate the creation of users in (Azure) Active Directory. It would be nice if it also works in a on-prem AD but for now let's focus on Azure.

What I want to know if it's possible to achieve the following.
I will propose a few methods running around in my head right now.

Method 1:
Is it possible in Yammer (maybe with our without Power Automate)?
For ex. I create a page or a button called "Create User".
When HR clicks on it they need to see a form where they can fill in the necessary information. In my case:
First name, Last name, Display name, Function name.
After clicking "Submit" a request is automatically send to 365 Admin Center to create a user based on the above information.
It also automatically creates a username (like: firstname.lastname@mathieu.company .com) and also an email address similar to the username.

Method 2
Is the exact above method also possible to achieve in Sharepoint (maybe with our without Power Automate)?

Method 3
Also the exact above method possible with Teams (maybe with our without Power Automate)?

You can use Power Automate to do this, which you could then call from Yammer. You can see one way of doing this here

As of right now, there isn't a local feature within Azure AD to automate the creation of users. However, if you'd like this to be a feature within Azure AD, I'd recommend leveraging our User Voice forum and creating a feature request, so our engineering team can look into implementing this.
