How i can use Azure Web PubSub multiple instances to work together as one service?

For Azure Web PubSub the Concurrent Connections per Unit is 1,000 and the Max Units is 100 that means the instance max number of Concurrent Connections per Unit is (100*1000=100000). If my app has 200000 Concurrent Connections then, we need tow instance. how to make these two instance work as one service or instance?

Could you describe more about your scenarios?

Here is a doc https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-web-pubsub/concept-disaster-recovery for how to set up multiple instances working together, but please note that this is not applicable for the PubSub WebSocket clients using the PubSub subprotocol.

The application is mobile chat application. App will have more than million user, maybe 10 million.
Can pubsub handle these number of user and how?

What Web PubSub cares about is the concurrently connected connection number, which is usually not the total number of users using the App. For example, one user might have multiple connections connected from different devices, or one user might be connected for a short period. Do you have the data on how many connections might be online at the same time?

Now we are in the development period.
We suggest to have one million connections at the same time at least.

The suggested way to do this in Web PubSub is to shard these connections into multiple instances during the "negotiate" step in your app server and your app server broadcasts the messages to each instance so that connections connected to each instance receive the message.

By this solution can a client connected to instance A send chat to a client connected to instance B?

In general the chat server call "sendToUser" to both instance A and instance B. When instance A does not have this user connected, there is no message sent out, while for instance B there exists this user so instance B delivers the message to that user.
