    Hi All,

    I recently had this problem and after several hours checking configuration parameters and perms I resolved it changing the default browser used by my windows server. In default apps section (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-your-default-browser-in-windows-020c58c6-7d77-797a-b74e-8f07946c5db6) just changed edge with IE. After that, I was able to navigate through admin sections in central administration fine (remember start central admin as Administrator).

    Hope it helps.

    You need to troubleshoot this as there may be some settings got messed up. Some troubleshooting steps below.

    1. Try running products configuration wizard
    2. From Central Administration website, go to manage services on server and stop and start SharePoint foundation web application
    3. Make sure you are using claims based authentication
    4. Clear the distributed cache and reset IIS
    5. As per the article, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/SharePoint/administration/configure-object-cache-user-accounts?redirectedfrom=MSDN make sure the reader account and super user accounts are domain accounts
    6. Also check whether your farm administrator account is in the local server administrator group.

    Please try these and see whether it solved the problem.

    @Karol ,

    As a supplement, make sure to run edge or the Central Admin start menu shortcut 'As Administrator' with elevated rights.

    Would this have something to do with classic vs. claims authentication? I noticed you had migrated sites from 2010 to 2019. You may want to check the authentication.

    Also, is publishing activated, and do you have the Super Reader account set up? May want to read this article, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/administration/configure-object-cache-user-accounts. Scroll about halfway down and notice item #2 where what it says about the "Access Denied" error.

    Hope this helps

    Please check your admin account is a member of the farm administrator group or not.
    If not, please add it to the farm administrator group.
