Hi Experts,
Can we enable Bitlocker encryption on REFS volume attached as a backup volume on DPM 2019 ?
DPM 2019 UR3 is running on server 2019, backup volumes are REFS and we expand the disk if backup data grows.
Is enabling bitlocker possible ?
If yes , then can we expand the backup volume after encryption is already enabled?
Any other option avalilable to encrypt the local copy of DPM backup ?

BL supports REFS and also expanding already encrypted disks.

Can you share a link from Microsoft Learn where they have confirmed this information ?

Bitlocker and any EFS type volume will be recognized and compatible with DPM 2019. The backup output will be also encrypted.
My only recommendation, would be to install the protection agent manually, so you can spot if there is any aded complication or just installs and configures normally.
