Hello

I'm considering how to perform a firmware update for an IoT device from Azure.

There is a service called Device Update for IoT Hub for IoT Hub,
and we have confirmed that it is likely to be realized here.

Does Azure IoT Central have functions like the above services?

Will it be in the form of creating an IoT Hub separately from Azure IoT Central
and using Device Update for IoT Hub?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello @HinataGrape-6694 ,

for as far as I know, this feature is not made available yet for Azure IoT Central.

There is no information available about roadmaps publically, it's up to the product group to share these kinds of things.

Looking at other features, Azure IoT Central always works with the single IoT Hub inside.

I understand the work-around by having two device clients on the same device (one connected to the IoT Central for telemetry, the other to a regular IoT Hub for device updates), both running in the same application.

Apart from the technical implications (like memory en storage restrictions), this would imply a lot of administration...
