SSMA Sybase ODBC works with Windows 7 but not 10

I have been using SSMA for Sybase successfully with Windows 7 client, but on Windows 10 using the same connection string I am unable to connect to Sybase. Error is Data Source not found. The same ODBC driver and connection string works with Visual Studio on Windows 10 (also on Windows 7). I have tried installing the 32-bit ODBC data source as either user or system DSN, same error. Using SSMA v 8.24, Sybase 12.5, Sybase ASE ODBC Driver version 3.50.00.10, What is different about the way SSMA connects to Sybase ODBC vs. Visual Studio? What's different in this regard between Windows 7 and 10? What else do I need to check to determine the reason for the error?

SSMA itself comes in two forms - 32-bit and 64-bit. If you want to use 32-bit ODBC driver, then you would need 32-bit SSMA. We recommend using everything 64-bit, though.

2022-02-19T00:19:29.73+00:00 Yes that was it, I needed 32-bit version, and I had installed that on Windows 7 but forgot I did. What's confusing is that it's difficult to tell which version you have from inside the application - the about gives the same info. Thanks!
