In the process of removing Lync 2010 server. Side by side since 2019. All users are on SFB. Will move CMS to SFB this weekend. Do I need to move the conference directories from the Lync 2010 server? Get-CsConferenceDirectory shows identity 1 for Lync and identity 2 for SFB. Thank you.

Hi @mara2021

Do I need to move the conference directories from the Lync 2010 server?

When a user account is moved to a Skype for Business Server 2019 server, the following information is moved with that user account:

  • Meetings already scheduled by the user. This includes moving the conferencing directories and conferencing data.
  • User's personal identification number (PIN). The user's current PIN continues to work until it expires or the user requests a new PIN.

So you don't need to move the conference directories from the Lync 2010 server.
