Function App build failed with error as meta data generation failed

Hi Team,
I have a function app with version v1 and .net framework version 4.6.2, till yesterday function was working fine but suddenly when i build the solution locally it's getting failed with error meta data generation failed.
In the warnings i can see Microsoft.NetCore.App version 2.0.0 but i am not referring this framework anywhere, i am sensing that the issue might be due to this framework. Does version 2.0.0 version deprecated ?
Kindly help me in resolving this issue.
