Will the ability to change the default format settings for cell Notes ever be added back to Excel?

Will the ability to change the default format settings for cell Notes ever be added back to Excel? It is unfortunate that Microsoft took away this ability to change the default format settings within Excel cell comments (now called "Notes") as this functionality existed in prior versions of Windows (Windows 8) and Excel (2010, 2013, 2016) . Granted, the ability to change the default format settings was buried deep within Windows (under Desktop-->Personalize-->Display-->Tooltips), but the functionality was there. As an accountant, I use Excel heavily at work (I use Excel for Microsoft 365) and the ability to change Note default settings is a feature I miss nearly everyday. It would be great if this feature could once again be available to users without needing to use VBA.
