The company I formally worked for used Microsoft 365 on my computer. Now, the subscription is expiring and I cannot get into some of my other portals. Plus, my Microsoft accounts (word, excel, outlook,, etc. is stating subscription soon expiring). I am getting the following message:

"AADSTS50105: Your administrator has configured the application DNA-Prod ('1eba571b-2d57-4ea5-ac74-e346ba855c73') to block users unless they are specifically granted ('assigned') access to the application. The signed in user 'zirkle.tXXXXXXX0_gmail.com#EXT#@hrXXXXXXck.oXXXosoft.com' is blocked because they are not a direct member of a group with access, nor had access directly assigned by an administrator. Please contact your administrator to assign access to this application."

I have a small accounting business and contract out. I would like to keep Office 365 without losing all current information. How to I update this to do that?

    Hi @TheresaZ ,

I understand that you are concerned about losing access to your Office 365 data and subscriptions after leaving your former company and receiving the error:

AADSTS50105: Your administrator has configured the application DNA-Prod ('1eba571b-2d57-4ea5-ac74-e346ba855c73') to block users unless they are specifically granted ('assigned') access to the application. The signed in user 'zirkle.tXXXXXXX0_gmail.com#EXT#@hrXXXXXXck.oXXXosoft.com' is blocked because they are not a direct member of a group with access, nor had access directly assigned by an administrator. Please contact your administrator to assign access to this application.

If your admin has removed your access, the only way to get back in is to have your admin grant access by either adding you to a group that is assigned to the application, or assigning you directly to it.

If you have been using your personal account for multiple resources, you may run into a prompt like this one:

If that is the case, the recommendation is to rename your personal account. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/change-the-email-address-or-phone-number-for-your-microsoft-account-761a662d-8032-88f4-03f3-c9ba8ba0e00b
