Issue with Visio retaining file save location

Myself and my colleagues have an incredibly annoying issue when saving our Visio work that would save us heaps of time if we could have it fixed. Usually with other microsoft programmes like word and excel, once we have saved our work in a folder, when we go to re-save our work as a PDF for example it would usually default to the same folder the original work was saved in. Instead with Visio it defaults back to the "documents" folder and we have to click through our database to re-find the folder all over again to save the same work as a PDF. This takes up lots of time when you are for example editing lots of drawings.

Please please someone help! Its driving us all mad

Thanks in advance!

    Hi, @Danny Wilson
You can try to modify the location in Visio-Options-Advanced-General-File Locations as shown(the path in the screenshot is an example):

Visio has a built-in feature to do just this.
When you select Save-As there is a list of the most recent locations. You can pin one or more of these and they end up at the top of the list in the Pinned group.
There is also an 'Add a Place' but that seems to be broken as it only has two entries for One Drive and nothing more can be added, so you can't add a place, you can only use their suggestions. Save your files where we can have a look at them. No thank you very much.
