External User needs to create VM's

Hi all,

We have external user and we want to give him access to azure portal where he will be responsible for VM creation, Database creation and be able to configure routing. Is there a role for this and what we need to do to give this person access to all of this?

Hi Andreas,

That is clear but what about external user access? When I create custom role how to give that external user access to the tenant?DO we need need to assign license? What to do?

Hi @Kak Tak ,

you could invite external users to your Azure tenant:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/organizations/accounts/add-external-user?view=azure-devops

If the external user is added to your tenant you could add the external user to AAD groups or/and AAD roles.
