Why is it taking so long for my policies to be updated on AIP?

Hello, I have some questions about AIP policy updates.

It has been taking a whole day for new policies to be applied on AIP. According to the article below, policy updates can take up to 24 hours on the classic client, but up to 4 hours on the unified labeling client.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/information-protection/rms-client/use-client#:~:text=Detailed%20comparisons%20for%20the%20Azure%20Information%20Protection%20clients,it%20%20...%20%2012%20more%20rows%20

I am currently using the unified labeling client, but it is taking more than 4 hours for my changes to be applied.
My questions are as follows:

  • Why is it taking so long for my policies to be applied?
  • Is there a way to apply changes immediately?

Thanks!
