Q1. When any user downloads apps from Microsoft Store, can app automatically install an add-on on first run ( Free addon ) ?

Q2. When any add-on expires, does app give any automatic notification or all is dependent on developer code?

You need to include all the add-on features in your app and upload the app to the Store. When use get the free add-on in your app, you could check the add-on license to unlock the add-on feature to the customer.
