I have configured the trust relationship between two forests now we are joining the machine PCs to domain B ,, PCs take the configuration that is related to DHCP server from Domain A

I have plan to configure a new DHCP server in Domain B and do DHCP failover between DHCP Domain A and DHCP domain B is this a good way or not

another plan is to join DHCP server from domain A to domain B is this a good way or not?

What is the best way to do DHCP failover?

    Hello @ALAHMADI, TURKI YOUSEF S

DHCP Failover has different modes, and they depend on the usage and resilience of service that you want to provide. The next Microsoft article describes the most used ones, explaining their capabilities and architecture, so you can decide which one is more convenient based on your needs:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2012-r2-and-2012/dn338976(v=ws.11)

Hope this helps with your query,
