I have been packaging the Power BI Desktop (64-bit) for several years now using App-V. It has always been a simple and straight forward product to package, until now. The latest release will not complete its startup when I deploy it to my test computers. I have tried doing this again several times, using PVAD or not, turning on all the boxes under 'advanced' tab, etc .etc.

I have a feeling this has something to do with all the nag screens one gets when you launch Power BI the first few times, but have been unable to work around it (if that is in fact the cause).

Has anyone else seen this or have any suggestions?

This is all I see on my Test PC's when I launch the package(s) that I have made.

Update: I was assuming that the Edge updates and folders I was seeing in my captured sequence were erroneous, and removing them. Apparently they are important - the Power BI installer is what is installing that. I made a new capture this morning and left all the Edge stuff alone, and my package launches. So, now my package is twice the size of course but she is working.
