I can't add account on Authenticator App on my Android mobile , keep getting "No network connection"

Hello,

I am trying to add account on Authenticator App on my htc one m9 plus mobile android ,

I open the authenticator app then i click on add account

i choose personal account then sign in with microsoft

once i click on sign in with microsoft i keep getting this msg :

No network connection

Add account failed. Please check your internet connection and try again.

even if i want to sign in with qr code , i get the same msg ..

I don't know why i keep getting this msg since i have a good connection .. i am connecting via wifi , and i don't have Mobile data enbled also i don't have mobile data to connect to internet...only via wifi.

How to fix this?

By the way , i cleared the cache and deleted all data from settings apps but in vain , i uninstall it then re-install but i have the same problem ..

    See if you have VPN turned on...I had the same issue. Just disable VPN and try again.
