We will use Citrix Cloud to deploy VM's on AVD.
For the use of Windows 10/11 Multisession which MS licenses are required when using the AVD?
Microsoft 365
Windows 10/11 Enterprise
Windows VDA (Is this valid?)

Azure Virtual Desktop
Azure Virtual Desktop
A Microsoft desktop and app virtualization service that runs on Azure. Previously known as Windows Virtual Desktop.

Windows 10 Enterprise E3 is the license required to access Windows 10/11 multi-session but there are some limitations here. This license can only be used if your users are connecting in from Windows Pro endpoint devices. Furthermore, if you are planning on hosting MsOffice desktop apps on your session hosts then your users will also need a license for this with shared computer activation. In this case Microsoft 365 Business Premium is usually the best recommendation here depending on any other requirements you might have.

Thanks @Alan Kinane for your feedback. I have seen the list with the User Access Rights. My biggest question is: Is Windows 10 VDA per user license suitable in a scenario where we have roaming users working on company owned computers and roam to BYOD. They are licensed according to Office 365 for Office.

Let’s say working on a windows pro oem licensed devices, users start a session on RDS servers and they have shared activated Office 365.
Now is that onpremise and I am building towards Citrix CVAD for Azure.
We will deploy Windows 10/11 Multisession. Those users have Office365 E3.

Hi @Alan Kinane , still appreciate your answer. And I am going to answer your feedback.

Actually, I share your thoughts and I was looking for your answer. But I am still in the phase to prove it in our environment. In our tenant which we manage our self without third parties or partners (CSP) we can not order the VDA licenses. Seems a new adventure starts to find a way to get the VDA licenses onboard without enabling GDAP. So, I don't have the feedback to you yet.

As soon as we have the license and implemented this I will for sure reply to you. Sorry for that.
