I bought a laptop some months ago, windows 10 preinstalled.
Recently I wanted to use linux natively, so I went for dual boot with UEFI, deactivating secureboot temporarily.
I did not notice bitlocker was preactivated, so when GRUB was installed, it made a change and now it is demanding the key, which I don't have.
How is it possible that windows comes with bitlocker preactivated and there is no recovery method attached as well?
Do I have any chance to get my data back?
I have tried different methods with no luck. Any of my accounts does not have the key. HP support in this case is not helping, as this is out of their scope.

What steps have you followed to troubleshooting this problem?
Have you tried enabling Secure Boot and TPM and try again?

No, I face the problem when booting Win10 from Linux GRUB, first thing I get is a splash screen with bitlocker blocked.
Yes, I re-enabled Secure boot, even restored BIOS defaults just in case.
Went through Bitlocker recovery, reset system, both local and cloud reinstall won't work either keeping your data or erasing it.
Tried to get the key via CMD from the recovery but the partition is locked by bitlocker, so I cannot do it.
Tried to recover the startup, but I also get bitlocker screen.
Not sure if there is anything left I can do saving my data, is there?
