Did the synchronization succeed before?
According to the messages in wcm.log, it seems we do not configure the WSUS correctly?
Have we tried to open the WSUS console and try to connect to the WSUS instance?
You may try to run the WSUS Server Configuration Wizard and leave all the settings the same or default.
