Lake database APIs are not documented

I am looking for a way to automate

Pulling from the Industry templates a list of tables
Managing a table (adding fields...)
I cannot find any documentation of such APIs

I meant the Lake DB feature in synapse where I can treat ADLS folders as tables and use SQL to query them.
These require a different set of APIs on how to create tables and manage their schema.

Based on my understanding, the table and field management APIs are not available, you need to use Transact SQL for that

With respect to ADLS, you can can either browse the ADSL Gen2 folders , so the create /manage ext. to be hanbled in the ADSL side.

If you want to copy data from ADLS, to Synapse, then refer the following

TSQL partly answer the question, as it can show schemas of the DB but does not allow altering it.
