Windows 11 Pro Activation Problem - Microsoft Error Code

Purchased a HP computer with Windows 11 Home. Have purchased windows 11 Pro at the windows store and installed. Now it says it wont activate and that the product key is invalid. error code 0xC004C003 - whats next ??

Hello,

If you bought Pro upgrade from Microsoft Store and it resulted into non-activated Enterprise edition, then this is a known issue.

0xC004C003 = The activation server determined the specified product key has been blocked.

Sometimes error 0xC004C003 occurs when a licensing code component tries to access a registry hive without proper access.
A resulting access denied error causes the product key not to be extracted correctly.
