Hi Community,

I've made a basic UWP app with Mica Material. Everything works fine but app doesn't have Windows 11 style minimize and maximize animations. Can anyone tell what to add or modify to XAML or C# code to make it work.

Thanks in advance! :)

Regards
Avinash

    Hello,
    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

It was managed by system level, if you run the app in the windows 11, it will contain minimize and maximize animation automatically. you can check if you have enabled animation by OS setting?

    Thank you.

    Hi @Avinash Kodavalla

To Turn On or Off Animation Effects via Settings app in Windows 11, do the following:
-Press the Windows key + I to open Settings.
-Click Accessibility on the left pane.
-Click on Visual effects on the right pane.
-Now, on the right pane, toggle the button to On (default) or Off for the option Animation effects per requirement.
    -Exit Settings app when done.

Hope this helps with your query,
