Azure SQL Database's Primary Key and Foreign Key missing Azure Purview ?

Hi, I’m reposting this question from @Gajendra Sah on Q&A (I have the same question).

Azure Purview can scan the Primary Key and Foreign Key constraints from Azure non-native software like Salesforces. But Azure Purview is not currently scanning the Primary Key and Foreign Key constraints from Azure native software like Azure SQL DB. Refer below screenshot

Please refer above screenshot, ID columns is Primary key in Azure SQL Database. But Primary key icon is not shown in Azure Purview. Could you please help us in this issue? Thanks

As we understand the ask here is that Azure Purview can scan the Primary Key and Foreign Key constraints from Azure non-native software like Salesforces but why not for Azure native software like Azure SQL DB?

As per my conversation with Azure Purview product team, there is a feature implementation in the roadmap for later this year, but we don’t have specific ETA at this point.

I would recommend you to please subscribe to Azure updates page for information on latest feature releases regarding azure products.

If you have any additional feedback regarding this feature, please considering sharing it in Azure IDEAS forum here: https://feedback.azure.com/d365community/forum/82d7bddb-fb24-ec11-b6e6-000d3a4f07b8. This forum is actively monitored and reviewed by respective product owners.

Please do share the feature request link once it is submitted so that I can pass on that information to respective product owners.

Hi @KranthiPakala-MSFT , yes I did read your message but I didn’t know what to say ; I’m just a bit astonished that Purview is not able to scan PK form Azure SQL Database and that product team has no ETA for that.

I’m not going to post any feedback, the waiting list is more than full already

At least can you contact the person in charge of the Purview docs so they update the missing section on what’s scan or not from Azure SQL database (at least other users like me will not wonder if it’s a bug)

Hi, Is there any update on this? Can MS Purview capture the key columns (for PK, FK, AK, etc.) for all RDBMS? I am specifically interested to know for MySQL. Thanks!
