my Sharepoint Server 2016 not working WorkFlow not working Sharepoint Designer

maybe there is another way ?

Set up an alert in a SharePoint server 2016 calendar list, and when a new event is created, an alert email will be sent to a specific user.

Important:

Before you can receive an alert as an e-mail message, a server admin must configure outgoing e-mail in SharePoint Central Administration.

the idea here is maybe if the calendar can create reminder alert for future event , the way reminders are set in Outlook . But the options for Alerting in Share Point are not the same as in Calendar . Which means that , you can not do it . Unless you connect your SP calendar to your Outlook calendar , and from there you can set any alert or notification !!!!
