How do I do this in SSRS but in Crystal it works

How do I create this type of report in SSRS Report builder? In the attached picture it is a Crystal Rpt. I add a Matrix but the data keeps defaulting to Columns

    Hi @PhillipK ,
    You might consider using List. In the page linked above, you could also see the difference between Table, Matrix and List at the same time.

    Just by the blurred screenshot I don't get what for a kind of report you mean and what you are trying to achieve.
    May can you explain it more detailed and give us a real example, please?
